ARCWELD ALU 4043 is a high silicon alloy, It is very commonly used for welding on 6xxx base materials and other heat treatable alloys. 4043 is a soft alloy, with good crack resistance and high penetration compared to other filler metals. Lower melting point and more fluidity than 5xxx series filler alloys, and it's suitable for sustained elevated temperature service, i.e. above 65°C
